Eaton Corporation to add electric vehicle chargers to federal locations
Washington Post // Jun 19, 2012As part of the Electric Vehicle Pilot Program, Eaton Corporation will install electric charging stations at several federal properties. The program is expanding beyond the pilot cities of Wasthington, DC, Detroit, Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. The Washington Post reports:
More than 60 charging stations have already appeared at various Federal agencies and departments, with more on the way. The goal is to see how and when plug-in electric drivers take advantage of at-work charging in the near term.Previously: Eaton Corporation to buy Cooper Industries.
