Westinghouse Electric Company submits a bid for Temelín nuclear power plant
Nuclear Engineering International Magazine // Jul 06, 2012Westinghouse Electric Company is one of three vendors to submit bids for two units at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant located in the Czech Republic run by Czech energy company CEZ. After eight months of preparation, the bid envelopes were opened on July 3. A final decision and contract is expected in late 2013. NEI Magazine reports:
“Westinghouse’s proposal meets or exceeds all mandatory requirements established in the Temelín Tender to provide CEZ with the most economically advantageous proposal,” said Westinghouse Electric Company interim President and CEO Shigenori Shiga.
