Lux Research predicts EV supply equipment market to top $1.1 billion in the next eight years
Rock Hill Herald // Oct 31, 2012According to a new report from Lux Research, the market for electric vehicle charging stations will expand to $1.15 billion by 2020. Lux predicts the market will grow by more than 1000 percent over the next eight years. The Herald Online reports:
“Success for EVSE will ultimately follow the success of electric vehicles,” said Kevin See, Lux Research Senior Analyst and the lead author of the report titled, “Charging Ahead: Finding Reality in the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Market.” “It’s critical for those invested in charging stations to find the applications where there’s substantial growth.”
