DoD spokesman says Air Force will develop 1 gigawatt of advanced energy by 2016
Bloomberg // Apr 18, 2012In keeping with the Pentagon's advanced energy strategy, the Air Force has announced its goal of developing 1 gigawatt of advanced energy in the next four years. The Air Force said in an e-mail that it generated 6 percent of its energy in 2011 from renewables, including wind, solar and landfill gas.
