Suzanne Bertin leads the Texas Advanced Energy Business Alliance (TAEBA) for AEE, promoting the advanced energy industry in the State of Texas. Suzanne got her start in energy policy as a staffer at the Public Utility Commission of Texas during the late 1990s, as the state was transitioning to competitive electric markets. Suzanne spent more than a decade at Reliant Energy (now NRG), and then later at EnerNOC (now Enel X) working on a wide range of wholesale and retail energy regulatory and legislative issues. Suzanne also previously held engineering positions at Austin Energy and at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
