SmartGrid Today, a subscription-only publication, covered AEE's reaction to the Senate vote in Pennsylvania that would let large C&I energy customers opt-out of the state's successful energy efficiency law. From the article: 

The vote "threatens the commonwealth's advanced energy industry by weakening energy efficiency programs delivered through Act 129," said JR Tolbert, VP for state policy at AEE, a national business group, in prepared remarks.

"We are concerned that the passage of Senate Bill 805 will cost Pennsylvania jobs, harm small business and residential ratepayers and potentially unravel Pennsylvania's successful energy efficiency programs."
