AEE works to help state regulators and candidates for governor and legislature better understand advanced energy products, services, and business models. Through NARUC engagement, business roundtables, and educational forums, AEE educates candidates, commissioners, and staff members about the benefits advanced energy technologies and services can provide to customers and the electric power system as a whole, and helps them solve the regulatory challenges in obtaining these benefits. AEE’s Decision-maker Education & Engagement Working Group involves Advocate- and Leader-level members in the process of acquainting these decision makers with the value of advanced energy.
