AEE seeks to scale advanced energy by driving technology adoption and market transformation through state policy and regulation. AEE supports, defends, and initiates pro-advanced energy legislation and executive branch policies in states that present valuable market opportunities. This work includes reform of utility regulatory and business models as needed to support the use of advanced energy technologies and services by utilities, third-party providers, and customers. Our Driving Technology Adoption & Market Transformation advocacy is carried out by two Working Groups, East and West, through which Advocate- and Leader-level members engage with AEE staff on priorities, strategy, and execution.
