Across the country and around the world, consumers, municipalities, and private-sector companies are turning to electric vehicles (EVs) as their primary mode of transportation, spurring significant potential for growth in the supply chain for EVs and charging equipment.
This webinar pulled from AEE’s recent report, Electric Transportation Supply Chain in Pennsylvania, prepared by BW Research Partnership, which finds a robust supply chain in formation in the state. The report also finds that more than 350 Pennsylvania firms, many of them in industries and geographies that have seen declines in recent years, could transition to serving the supply chain for electric vehicles. As Pennsylvania, like many other states, considers economic recovery strategies following the COVID-19 public health crisis, the opportunity to capitalize on electric transportation growth deserves attention from policymakers. Our panel of industry experts provided their perspectives on this opportunity for the Keystone State and looked at how this could play out in other states.
