PURPA’s Future in the Balance: Will pending changes from Congress or FERC block this path for renewable energy development?

Recorded on June 29, 2017

AEE's Arvin Ganesan and Davis Wright Tremaine's Glenn Benson provide an overview of the Public Utilities Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA), a 1970s-era law that drives procurement of certain types of advanced energy generation. Congress along with FERC are considering changes to this law and related regulations that could positively or adversely affect development of such generation projects.

This webinar will help you better understand what PURPA is, how it's implemented and what some of the contemplated and potential changes to the law may be.
